What takes our own projects, EYP Romania organized at national level like Regional Selection Session in 2008 and 2009, National Selection Session in 2007, 2008 and 2009, as well as at international level, most important the Olympic Forums (Greece) in 2007, 2008 and 2009, Young Forum 2009, East European Forums (Romania) in 2007 and 2008. The 2009 Regional Selection Session have been participated by over 350, representing all historic regions of the country.
Periodically, EYP Romania organises the training called "Steps in organising a EYP event", event which has as objective to prepare the next generation of organisers, to train journalists and chairs. We mention here the training in Paltinis, 11-13th january 2008, Oradea, 10-11 january 2009, Olympic Forum 2008 and 2009.
We just can't wait untill teh next EYP Romania event, the Regional Selection Session 2010 during spring time!
Our organizers, young enthusiasts, are always ready to help the high school students that want to participate by sending some concrete material. EYP Romania can even arrange visits to interested high schools to present our organization and work program.

Why... The European Youth Parliament is possibly the most outstanding non-formal educational project your students could possibly ever experience. The academic, political, social, emotional implications are guaranteed to enhance their education and personal maturation to a very gratifying extent. They benefit, their school benefits, their family, their peers, their teachers...

Who... EYP delegates are usually 16-21 year-old students.
Guidance
Students recently engaged in the EYP experience on their respective national level may feel quite green when facing the dynamic of public speaking and debates, as well as unprepared or ignorant when addressing current events with their often controversial aspects. Teachers can help their students through these important first steps with helpful information, topic organisation and preparation as well as coaching on public speaking, voice projection and personal presence.
Support
Students who have been chosen to attend an International Sessions have obviously met the challenges of their national selection but are now faced with others. The guidance that a teacher has proven to give until now takes a step back, as their students are now delegates immersed in an intensive nine-day international experience getting to know and creatively working alongside many others. The hosting organisation (National Organising Committee) always provides a clear and thorough infrastructure to assure delegates are well-attended.
We are looking forward for you to get involved in the most grandiose youth program that aims in politically educating young Europeans and we are waiting for you to join us in the unique experience that EYP is.
